Expocity Albania hosted the first edition of the Fair and the International Conference of Agrobusiness and Agrotechnics, “AgroTech 2018”. The fair marked one of the most important events of the year for the agricultural sector.
For three days in a raw, at Expocity Albania, 40 stands and about 60 agribusinesses, had the opportunity to expose their offer to the market and the sector.
Not only Albanian companies, but from all over the Balkan region and beyond, were able to expose their products and services to Expocity Albania. About 2500 visitors were introduced to the latest news in this sector as well as technological innovations.
In a comprehensive concept, 360 degrees, this fair featured with relevant products all companies involved in the production of agricultural inputs, seeds, pesticides, horticulture, flowers, medicinal plants; companies that trade equipment, tools and agricultural machinery, equipment and technology for food processing, packaging, labeling, and agricultural associations, financial institutions, and government institutions.
In addition to the exposure of their products and services, businesses had the opportunity to create new partnerships, develop business meetings, and get information on the most innovative technology of the sector.
Not just the fair …
Expocity Albania, as an integral part of the fair, also held the Agro Tech Conference, where the best experts in the field and representatives of state institutions addressed the problems and discussed about the most optimal solutions for the agricultural sector; also provided valuable information on innovative technologies and concepts of quality certification.
What visitors were acquainted with
Visitors found a unique space with the diversity of all agricultural products and were introduced to the latest market trends for the sector.
The fair served as an ideal meeting point for visiting farmers and agricultural producers, as well as potential sector buyers, exporting companies of agricultural machinery, regional distributors of importing companies, agricultural trade associations, foreign investors etc.
Both exhibitors and visitors found in the fair information on the latest and most efficient technology solutions, new financial programs for the agricultural sector, trends in domestic and international markets, investment opportunities, etc.
This fair was supported by the contribution of leading companies in the regional market, such as the Greek company Hellagro, in the packaging of industrial materials, food packaging and agricultural equipment, and the Albanian company Alb Tech Plast sh.pk, which deals with plastic production and packaging materials, significantly supporting the agricultural sector.
